GREAT Bottle Drive!
(Sept. 12th)
Thanks to all of your help, the
Aquaducks now reign supreme as the local non-profit that
makes the most of bottle-drives. Our Sept. 10th bottle
drive total was a new record! And thanks to all your
hard work, that money goes a long way in keeping all of our
fees down.
Swimmers of the Week

Due to a receding hairline and
receding brain, not all the swimmers of the week were posted

Stunning Provincial
Results for Revy
(Aug 24th)
Revelstoke Aquaducks had their
best ever results at the BCSSA Provincial Swimming
Championships this past weekend. The Aquaducks flexed their
muscles and won more medals, got more points, and had more
club records broken than at any other provincial
championships that anyone can remember. Richmond's
Watermania was the venue for great Aquaduck results.
In perhaps the most exciting race for the Duck, Bryn
Hoshizaki, Frankie Howe, and sisters Kate and Beth Granstrom
fought back in the Freestyle Relay, and in an amazing come
from behind position, they managed to win a bronze medal.
Great swim girls!
Check
out the results page
for a full set of provincial results (including medal
standings), and new club records.

Potluck at Regionals
(Aug 3rd)
On Saturday evening (approx. 1/2
hour after ending of meet) we will be having a potluck
dinner at the H20 Centre in Kelowna. Please bring your own
drinks, plates, cutlery, and a dish to share. It is a
tradition to hold a potluck dinner this evening and we hope
to see you all there, plus it may give us a chance to have
an extra practice for the CHEER....
Ramping up for
Regionals
(July 29th)
Only 8 days until our Okanagan Regional Meet in Kelowna.
At this point it looks like 40 Aquaducks swimmers will be
competing. Remember, top 3 in each event advance to
provincials while top 2 relay teams get to go.

Salmon
Arm Fun Meet (May
29th)
What a great time
everyone had at the S A Fun meet today. Today's meet
was a great way to get kids in the water, racing, without
the pressure of a 'real' swim meet. Hope to see
everyone in Nelson and then Lumby for our next two swim
meets!
Bottle
Drive Success(May

Thanks for all the
Aquaducks and their parents for all their hard work today at
the bottle drive. Although it wasn't as successful as
the first one, we still did very, very well raising money
for our club to help keep costs down for YOU.
