Registration
(April 2)
Summer Swim registration
will take place at the rec centre on April 3rd and 8th from
4-7pm. Make sure you head down and get your ducklings
all signed up for the upcoming summer swim season. Click

Another Coach!

Another coach has been added
to our staff this year. Joining Jeff and Eliza is
Junior Assistant Coach. . . wait for it . . . Jacob Wallach.

Eliza wins MVP
(March 20)
The Aquaducks are proud to
acknowledge our new assistant coach on her win tonight in
Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Eliza McGuire won the most valuable
swimmer at Acadia University this evening. Have a look

New Coach Confirmed!
(March 10)
The Revelstoke Aquaducks are
proud to announce the addition of Eliza McGuire to our
coaching staff for the upcoming summer season. A former
summer swimmer, she's a BC girl attending university in Nova
Scotia where she competes with the Acadia Axewomen varsity

Future Stars Swim Camp
(March 5)
The Aquaducks are proud to host
Canadian Olympian Scott Dickens and the Future Stars swim
camp May 10-12th, 2013 in Revelstoke. This is an amazing
opportunity and is only limited to 30 swimmers. Click

(March 5)

Swim Meet Dates Switch
(Jan 27)
The 2013 Summer Swim Meet
Schedule was switched today. The Kamloops Meet will be one
week later and the Lumby Swim Meet will be one week earlier.

be in Coquitlam and NEXT year's provincials will be in our
home region: Kamloops!
Summer Session begins early

It's just been announced
that our summer season, which usually begins May 1st, will
begin this year on Monday, April 29th!
Summit 2013

The 2013 BCSSA Spring Summit
takes place the first weekend in may at SFU. It's a
swimming specific conference for swimmers, parents, coaches,

Candy Cane Jamboree
(Nov 4)
On
Monday
Dec. 10th the Aquaducks are planning to run a Candy Cane
Jamboree. Make sure to show up otherwise you might end
up on Santa's "Naughty List"!
High School Ducks Shine
(Nov. 4)
Fourteen Revelstoke high
school swimmers will head to Richmond for the provincial
High School championships after qualifying last Sunday at
the regional meet in Kelowna. Emily Pfeiffer lead the
pack with a meet record in the 50m Butterfly.
Registration
(Nov 4)
On
Monday
Dec. 10th registration for the next sesson of winter
maintenance will take place at the rec. centre. Monday
Jan. 7th is the first day of this session and it will run
until the end of April 2013.

Register for Fall Swimming
(Aug. 31st)
The Revelstoke Aquaducks are
preparing for their first session of "Winter Maintenance".
This fall session runs from Sep. to Dec. Click

more details. Don't forget to come to the Rec Centre
on Sept. 5th from 5-8pm to register!
18 Medals at Provincials!
(Aug. 19th)
Revelstoke swimmers ended the
year with a fistful of medals and a sack full of best time
at the Provincial Championships at Nanaimo this weekend.
Perhaps most exciting was the number of first time
medallists: Jaclyn Eliott, Devyn Gale, Hunter Stewardson,
Megan Hoshizaki, and Gina Cinelli. Four gold medallists were
Cynthia and Emily Pfeiffer, James LeBuke, and Nadia Salon.
Among the amazing swims and best times included Alex Jay in
the 50 and 100 Free, Bryce Molder in the 100Fly, Tye
Hoshizaki in the 50mBreast, Gina in the 100Breast, Jaclyn
Elliott in the 50Free, Caine McCabe in the 100IM.
Awards Potluck and AGM (August
13th)
Yeah,
Potluck BABY! Who doesn't love potlucks? No one,
that's who. That's why the Aquaducks are having their annual
Awards Evening Potluck and AGM meeting at 6PM.
The venue will be QE park right in
front of the new high school. mmmmm. . .
cheesecake . . . mmmmmm.
Nanaimo, here we come! (Aug.11th)
Twenty nine Revelstoke
swimmers have qualified for and will be competing at the
BCSSA Provincial Swimming Championships in Nanaimo Aug.
17-19th.
Regional Excitement (July
29th)
The Aquaducks will be sending
almost 50 swimmers to the BCSSA Okanagan Regional
Championships this upcoming weekend. The excitement at
the pool is building as athletes train hard in order to
finish in the top 3 so they can advance to provincials in
Nanaimo. Don't forget that there will be a "Regional
Camp" (for athletes who qualify for provincials) on the
holiday Monday, following the regionals at Brocklehurst
pool.

Revelstoke Meet (July
16th
Revelstoke Aquaduck parents
and swimmers deserve huge props for great work this
past weekend at a very successful Revelstoke Swim Meet.
Our team won the meet by just beating out Salmon Arm by 90
points and several club and meet records were set.
Memorable swims by Alex J, James L, Ryan G, Cynthia, Emily
P, Beth, Kimberly and dozens of other highlighted a great
meet. Thanks to parents and volunteers for all their
hard work: often we heard from visiting parents that
they were once again impressed at their favourite meet of

Kelowna Golden for Ducks (July
2nd)
Revelstoke Aquaduck swimmers
came away from the Ogopogo Invitational Swim Meet this
weekend with super fast swims, best times, and aggregate
medals. Congrats to medal winners Beth Granstrom, Alex
Jay, Emily Pfeiffer, Cynthia Pfeiffer, Nadia Salon, and Jeff
Beatty.
