Mini Meet Feb.11th Kelowna (Nov. 28th) Get ready for a mid-winter BCSSA Mini Meet in Kelowna.  The Kelowna Ogopogos have tentatively scheduled Saturday, Feb. 11th. What a great way to get your kids racing in the pool whether it's their first ever competition or it's their 100th!

Winter Registration Dec.7th (Nov. 23th) It's time to mark your calendar and head down to the Rec Centre on Wed. Dec. 7th from 4-6pm to register for the second session of Winter Maintenance.  Click HERE for all the details!

Swim Meet Schedule Updated! (Nov. 6th) The swim meet schedule for 2012 has been updated on the schedule page.  Also, the swim meet schedule for 2013 has been set! (for those of you who like to plan ahead)

GREAT Bottle Drive! (Sept. 12th) Thanks to all of your help, the Aquaducks now reign supreme as the local non-profit that makes the most of bottle-drives.  Our Sept. 10th bottle drive total was a new record!  And thanks to all your hard work, that money goes a long way in keeping all of our fees down.

Swimmers of the Week (Sept. 12th) Due to a receding hairline and receding brain, not all the swimmers of the week were posted -- UNTIL NOW!

Stunning Provincial Results for Revy (Aug 24th) Revelstoke Aquaducks had their best ever results at the BCSSA Provincial Swimming Championships this past weekend. The Aquaducks flexed their muscles and won more medals, got more points, and had more club records broken than at any other provincial championships that anyone can remember.  Richmond's Watermania was the venue for great Aquaduck results.  In perhaps the most exciting race for the Duck, Bryn Hoshizaki, Frankie Howe, and sisters Kate and Beth Granstrom fought back in the Freestyle Relay, and in an amazing come from behind position, they managed to win a bronze medal.  Great swim girls!

Check out the results page for a full set of provincial results (including medal standings), and new club records.

Winter Swim Program Sept-Dec. (Aug 22rd)  Click HERE to see registration information for our first session of 'Winter Swimming' which goes from September to December. Registration is at the Community Centre on Wednesday, September 7th 5-8pm.

Reminder for Regionals (Aug 4th) Parents, please remember that if your child advanceds to the provincial championships as a result of their super fast swim this weekend, you have to decide THIS WEEKEND whether or not you will attend the provincials in Richmond. Click HERE to get more information on the Richmond Provincials.

Potluck at Regionals (Aug 3rd) On Saturday evening (approx. 1/2 hour after ending of meet)  we will be having a potluck dinner at the H20 Centre in Kelowna. Please bring your own drinks, plates, cutlery, and a dish to share. It is a tradition to hold a potluck dinner this evening and we hope to see you all there, plus it may give us a chance to have an extra practice for the CHEER....

Ramping up for Regionals (July 29th)  Only 8 days until our Okanagan Regional Meet in Kelowna.  At this point it looks like 40 Aquaducks swimmers will be competing.  Remember, top 3 in each event advance to provincials while top 2 relay teams get to go.

Dr. John Hogg (July 26th)  The Revelstoke Aquaducks are proud to have form U of A swim coach John Hogg speak to our swimmers in two sessions on July 26th at the Rec. Centre. Don't miss out, Aquaducks!

Revelstoke Wins Meet (July 17th)  The Revelstoke Aquaducks won the combined team aggregate by the slimmest of margins to take top team at the 35th anniversary swim meet in Revelstoke this weekend -- this is the first time the Aquaducks have won their host meet in . . . well . . . in as long as anyone can remember!

Those helping with setup please meet at the pool at 5pm today to begin the setup.  Get a good rest tonight, everyone!  We have 227 swimmers registered for our meet this weekend.  Oh and bring your ski goggles -- it's supposed to snow . . . joking! . . .

Salmon Arm Success (July10th)  Strong team results were found in Salmon Arm this past weekend: the Aquaducks finished third just behind Kelowna and Salmon Arm.  Aggregate medallists included Anna and Emily Pfeiffer, Alex Jay, James LeBuke, and Devyn Gale (there were a few others but, alas, I can't quite remember them!  I'll change this post to include them all when I get them!

Golden Gold (June 26th)  On Saturday, Julne 25th the Ducks came away from the one day meet in Golden with a fist full of gold medal aggregates as well as other aggregate medals.  Way to go Ducks!

Swimmers of the Week! (June 25th)  Brynn, Liam, Soleil, Colm, Alex, Beth, Jordan, Miika, and Bryce have all won swimmer of the week in the first five weeks of swim club.  Scroll down and SEE!

Calling all Aquaducks Alumni! (June 20th)  On Saturday, July 16th at our annual meet we will be celebrating our 35th year!  Come down to the pool to see the action, enter the Fun in the Sun Draw, or perhaps place a bid on a genuine Starting Block from our previous home, the Centennial Pool.  Nostalgic photos, results from long ago, and historical knickknacks will be on display.  Egg McDucks and treats will be available at the Concession.

Alumni Race -- Wanna race?  Sign up for the Alumni 50 Freestyle, held in the afternoon (around 2:00?) immediately before the relays.  The $5 entry fee includes the race and a slice of cake!  Special edition vintage Aquaducks shirts will also be on sale for $20.   Contact Graham Gale (250-837-6287, grahamgale@hotmail.com ) to enter the Alumni Race.  We would be delighted to include past members in our celebration!

Aquaducks win in Nelson! (June 6th)  For the first time (and in perhaps as long as 12 years) the Revelstoke Aquaducks won a BCSSA swim meet!  Way to go Aquaducks and they bested all other teams for the overall team aggregate!  What a way to start the year!  Look out Lumby . . . !

Happy Birthday Jeff! (May 29th)  Rumour has it that a certain head coach of a certain swim club in a certain mountain town is celebrating a certain "important" day tomorrow.  Happy B-Day Mr. Jeff Beatty

Jelly Bean Meet! (May 29th)  You should have received an email reminding you about the Jelly Bean Meet this Wednesday. All parents and swimmers, of all ages, should be there at 3:45.  We'll need parents to help volunteer as timers and the jelly bean fun should begin at 4!

Click on the Aquaducks Calendar! (May 29th)  If you haven't already done so, click on the 2011 Aquaducks Calendar on the right hand side of this page, just below the 35th Anniversary Logo.  The calendar will keep you abreast of all that is going on with the Aquaducks.

Salmon Arm Fun Meet (May 29th)  What a great time everyone had at the S A Fun meet today.  Today's meet was a great way to get kids in the water, racing, without the pressure of a 'real' swim meet.  Hope to see everyone in Nelson and then Lumby for our next two swim meets!

Bottle Drive Success(May 28th)  Thanks for all the Aquaducks and their parents for all their hard work today at the bottle drive.  Although it wasn't as successful as the first one, we still did very, very well raising money for our club to help keep costs down for YOU.
